MIRANDA RIGHTS MUST BE READ-ONLY WHEN A SUSPECT IS GOING TO BE QUESTIONED!
All LEO, Fire/EMS, Dispatch, and Tow must be on the radio while on duty.
Maintain strict RTO or risk removal from Comms, loss of rank, or other disciplinary actions.
Do not abuse jail times or fines.
Only confiscate weapons, drugs, dirty money, weapons/hunting/drivers' license as related to the crime. DO NOT confiscate clean money, food, water, repair kits, medkits, etc.
Always be in the correct uniform, correct weapon loadout, drive the correct vehicle in the correct configuration. See your department roster. No unauthorized modifications to police vehicles.
Obey traffic laws at all times, unless responding to a scene and you are operating your cruiser at CODE 2 or 3.
Respect other departments and all citizens of San Andreas. The safety of our citizens is your number one priority.
Respect requests from superior officers, across all departments.
Always search a suspect AFTER they have been arrested and prior to placing them in your vehicle.
ALWAYS request permission before attempting a P.I.T. maneuver.
Always attempt to negotiate with a suspect if possible.
Never shoot a suspect from outside the building unless the suspect has fired first or has pointed a weapon.
SWAT will serve as negotiator unless given other instructions.
Do not attempt to breach until SWAT has arrived. SWAT will always be the scene commander. These do not apply when none is on duty. Then the highest rank or first department on the scene will be in control.
Lying about age will result in a permanent ban.
You must wait 30 days before requesting a transfer to another department.
In certain situations officers may leave jurisdiction: a. Minimal officers staffed for a particular department. Ex: LSPD has 6 officers, Sheriff as 1 b. Multiple officers down at a scene. c. Signal 100 as designated by dispatch or department superior. d. Single officer down in one location and officers from jurisdiction are close. e. Dispatch may attach officers from another jurisdiction to a call if needed.
Only certificated SWAT officers can use/carry shields in the trunk of their cruiser.
Only certificated SWAT in SWAT gear can use/throw tear or BZ gas.
Only SWAT in SWAT gear is the only one allowed to use silencers and extended magazines.
Shooting unarmed/complying suspects, especially when they are in the process of giving up, will result in suspension.
Repeated observations/reports of being overly aggressive with a suspect or a suspect’s vehicle will result in department discipline.
You are to keep all long guns (ie. ARs, MP5s, shotguns) in your car unless you are using them for a scene.
You CAN NOT be drunk/high in or out of the game on duty.
Do not use thermals to look through a building/yacht/ground.
No corrupt LEO RP unless given permission by owner/admins and must provide details of the planned RP scenario.
Police officers can only give a max sentence of 60 minutes. Courts can give more.
You are NOT to have other department vehicles without that department higher ups permission.
Officers in UNMARKED vehicles can not pull over people for traffic enforcement unless you have a marked unit as an initiating unit.
